Wheelchair friendly course

The wheelchair courses will be focused on people with a disability that will be able to do front office and reservations. Cerebral Palsy (CP is a condition that affects motor skills, balance, causes stiffness of muscle also referred to as spasms and in some cases affects bladder and bowel movement.

CP is caused by damage to the brain during or after birth. Most individuals living with Cerebral Palsy are permanently confined to a wheelchair.

A hotel school accessible for wheelchair users will be beneficial in terms of developing self-confidence and helping wheelchair users build a better future and be more independent.

Independence is one thing most wheelchair users don’t have but really wish to and I am convinced all wheelchair users will consider any chance to advance like any able-bodied person a golden opportunity.

Most places are not accessible or tuned in to the needs of wheelchair users or our desire to be treated like any other and how we long to prove to ourselves and others that we can achieve more than what our bodies give us credit for.

To reach this goal in a place accessible to us would be a dream come true. – Janie Davel –
